8. Foreign Navies

Kilworth Marine Services have provided trouble shooting, installation and repair services for foreign naval vessels. For example fitting and connecting Gyro compasses that had to be interfaced with old legacy autopilots, repeaters and missile control systems. Initially this modern gyro compass was failing to drive all the required systems via a specially designed interface box. Analysis of the problem conducted by us at the company’s factory provided a solution to be used on the six systems undergoing installation in Bangladesh.

Kilworth Marine Services then attended each vessel in Chittagong and upgraded the equipment, completed the installation and attended sea trials on all six vessels, returning to the company with six signed off Sea Acceptance Trials which completed the contract.
